Sonates pour flûte et violon Opus 51
Joseph Bodin de Boismortier

Baroque Flute
and violin

The members of La Volta Ensemble play mainly the Baroque and classical repertoire. To best serve this wonderful music, they use period instruments and convey all the emotion and liveliness of the pages composed by the great musicians of the XVIIIth century.

The La Volta Ensemble, founded in 1996, regularly performs at Toronto, Quebec as well as Montreal and area. They also accept engagements in ceremonies and congresses. They participate in theatre and baroque dance presentations, wearing eighteenth-century costumes.

The trio consists of Grégoire Jeay, baroque flute, Olivier Brault baroque violin and Isabelle Bozzini baroque cello. Each of them has contributed in recording and broadcasts.
